However, the power consumption of the reactor heated directly by electricity is relatively large, which is a severe test for transformers. At the same time, the cost of electric heating is also the highest, which is not conducive to reducing production costs compared with natural gas heating. The second way of electric heating of the reactor is that the reactor itself does not produce heat, but depends on it. External heat conducting oil furnace, steam boiler and other equipment generate heat, and then transfer heat to the reactor through heat transfer medium. This kind of reactor should have a special place to place a set of heat-conducting oil furnace, and then link the reactor with the heat-conducting oil furnace through the pipeline. When working, the heat-conducting oil furnace should be opened to generate heat. The heat-carrying high-temperature heat-conducting oil enters the jacket (or coil) of the reactor along the pipeline laid in advance to release heat. Then along the oil return pipeline back to the heat conducting oil furnace to be heated again, so that heat is absorbed repeatedly in the heat conducting oil furnace, and heat is released in the reactor to complete the heating process of the reactor. This heating method can reduce the pressure of power supply and avoid voltage fluctuation, but it covers a large area. It needs to accommodate both the reactor and the heat-conducting oil furnace, and the equipment investment is also large. After all, the purchase, installation, operation and maintenance of the heat-conducting oil furnace is also a cost, but the production cost will be reduced because of the use of natural gas.
